What voice commands can you use with your Echo or Nest devices?
You can operate virtually every part of your Lawrence smart home via your AI assistant. See the condition of your smart components, adjust to a pre-determined template, or minutely tweak a setting with some simple voice commands. Or tell your Echo or Nest speaker to arrange your security system just like you could in the Vivint App.
Here are just a few voice commands you are able to give to Google or Alexa:
-
“Arm my security system to away.”
-
“Latch the back door.”
-
“Power off my bedroom light.”
-
“Did I leave the garage door open?”
-
"Save a clip of my doorbell camera."
-
"Lower the heat 5 degrees."
-
“Turn off the downstairs light in 30 minutes.”
Save time when you program in routines in your Google Home or Alexa smartphone app that combine many functions. For instance, try "Google, I'm leaving the house," and set your motion detectors, reduce the thermostat, and lock the doors. Or make a routine for "date night" and ask your smart home to power off the lights and adjust the temperature to to that perfect, cozy place.
